Hey Kessy x Anthill x June Eatery

This beginner-friendly workshop invites participants to experience food beyond consumption—through observation, creativity, and connection. Guided by artist and ceramicist Mansy Abesamis, guests will learn basic soft pastel techniques while drawing dishes, ingredients, and textures, inspired by a curated meal from June Eatery BGC.

Presented in collaboration with ANTHILL Fabrics, this special edition celebrates the dining table as a space for gathering and generosity. Inspired by the Filipino bilao, a symbol of abundance and community, each guest will receive an ANTHILL mini bilao coaster to take home, carrying the spirit of the table beyond the experience.

Designed for complete beginners, Table Portraits embraces no pressure sketching. The focus isn’t on creating perfect drawings, but on slowing down, paying attention, and discovering how observation can deepen our relationships with food and one another.

Participants will:
• enjoy a curated selection of dishes while learning about the ingredients and stories behind them
• explore approachable soft pastel drawing techniques
• create food-inspired artworks using color, texture, and memory
• receive a mini bilao from Anthill
• experience food as a source of creativity, storytelling, and connection
